Support Officer – Information & Communications Technology (ICT)
Position Summary:
Perform day-to-day Data Center Operations and ensure 24 hours uptime operations of all Information & Communication Technology systems and resources. Provide direct support to the staff in relation to any ICT related issues and problems. Ensure continuous availability of network of the bank maintaining the security.
Key Requirements:
Knowledge of Core Banking System operations and functionality
Understanding of MIS and MIS tools
Knowledge and experience of hardware and software technologies including System Administration, Active Directory and Linux Administration, Network System Administration and Security
Experience in software / web development
Knowledge of database administration and performance tuning of different database providers (preferably Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL)
Ability to perform data center operations along with regular backup
Capable of understanding user’s requirements and recommend possible solution
Proactive in research of systems and technologies and able to recommend implementation with its benefits
Other Requirements:
Capable and willing to work in off hours and night shifts
Sound communication skills
Qualifications & Work Experience:
1-2 years of experience in relevant field, preferably in Banking & Financial Institutions. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
